Mexico becomes the latest signatory to the ICSID Convention

On 11 January, Mexico signed the Convention on the Settlement of Investment Disputes between States and Nationals of other States, signed on 18 March 1965 in Washington and better known as the Washington Convention or ICSID Convention. Mexico became the 162th signatory State of said Convention. It will come into force in Mexico on the 30th day after the ratification instruments have been deposited.
